Stephanie Chandler is the author of several books including The Nonfiction Book Publishing Plan: The Professional Guide to Profitable Self-Publishing and The Nonfiction Book Marketing Plan: Online and Offline Promotion Strategies to Build Your Audience and Sell More Books. Stephanie is also founder and CEO of the Nonfiction Authors Association, a vibrant community for writers, and the Nonfiction Writers Conference, an annual event conducted entirely online since 2010. A frequent speaker at business events and on the radio, she has been featured in Entrepreneur, BusinessWeek, and Wired magazine.

Extended Bio:

Stephanie Chandler spent a decade in the Silicon Valley, serving in roles including software sales, technical training, and technical support. When she developed an ulcer before her 30th birthday, she knew it was time for a complete lifestyle change.

In 2003, she fled corporate America and opened a 2,800 square-foot bookstore in Sacramento, CA. She planned to write novels in the back office (a goal she laughs about today!), but soon discovered she lacked the imagination to write fiction. Fortunately, she developed a passion for nonfiction due to its ability to make a difference in the lives of readers.

Her first book was published in 2005 and it became the launch point for a wonderful career she hadn’t planned on. She began speaking at business events and publishing conferences, and consulting with small business owners, independent authors, and a variety of corporations. She sold the bookstore in 2007 to pursue her new career path full-time.
